St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

If you have got a child in school, or are a member of staff, then you are also a member of the PTA (Parent, Teacher Association) !

As such, you play an important role in the school community.  The PTA are a very enthusiastic and supportive group of volunteers, who organise social events and fundraise throughout the year.  This provides extras that enhance the learning and enjoyment for all our children. 

We regularly hold discos for the children and run annual favourites such as the Christmas shopping and the Summer Fayre.  We also like to try out new ideas and have lots of exciting events planned for the rest of the year, including cake sales termly.

You will find details of all these in our regular newsletters and on the PTA notice board at the front of the school.

We like to support the school in their aims and are currently fundraising to buy lots of new library books and a defibrillator! We also hope to pay for a production or two for all children to enjoy.  There are other items on the “wish list” so why not get involved and help to decide how the money is spent?
