Safe Parking NEAR THE SCHOOL

St Mary’s Primary, Bradon Forest Secondary, the police, Purton Parish Council, Wiltshire Council and Green Square Accord housing work together to tackle traffic issues and parking near the schools.

Parking on The Peak and Reids Piece not only causes completely preventable dangers for our children on their journeys to and from school, but poor/illegal parking would often prevent ambulance or fire-engine access in the event of an emergency.

We would remind our parents to park in the allocated places in the village. The Angel public house has also agreed that parents can park there - as long as they park sensibly. A map of suitable and convenient parking areas for the school run is below.

For everyone’s safety, we urge parents and carers to park away from the school sites.
