St Mary's have been awarded the Gold Award from the Sainsbury's School Games Association.

St Mary's is very proud to have achieved the Gold Mark Award from the School Games. This is an OfSted recognised award. To achieve this award St Mary's has to ensure that there are opportunities for all pupils to take part in both competitive and noncompetitive sport, provide 'learn to lead' opportunities, utilise sports coaches, have an active Sports Council, maintain links to local community sports and leisure providers, and encourage previously non-active pupils to engage in extracurricular sport throughout the 2016-2017 academic year.
