St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

Last week we had a Challenge Partners team in school for three days to conduct our annual Quality Assurance Review. The team comprised of three senior staff members from schools across the country, under the stewardship of a Challenge Partners' team leader (who, in our case, was also an experienced OFSTED inspector). The rigorous process saw them undertake lesson observations across the school, meet with the school council and other pupil groups, as well as interview and receive presentations from St Mary's Senior Team and Curriculum Leaders. We were delighted with the outcomes of this Quality Assurance review. It was pleasing that they identified strengths in school improvement and that the school had made great progress since last year's successful Challenge Partner Review. Their conclusion was that St Mary's is a good school that continues to improve.
