As well as teaching Year 2, Miss Harries is also our specially-trained Forest School teacher. The children in the forest school group get special opportunities to undertake outdoor activities and have so far stroked horses, built dens, made bows and arrows, climbed trees and even made Christmas decorations! It has been wonderful to how see the children have changed, matured and developed in confidence over the past months. This afternoon they lit a fire in the fire-pit and then toasted marsh-mallows! Mr Payne popped over to take some photographs, but they insisted he had a marsh-mallow... or two...
