Two wonderful events have really marked the start of the Christmas season at St Mary's.

This morning the children have been putting the finishing touches to their nativity service ahead of their performances to parents, carers and guests next week. The photograph shows the 'candle lit' ending which is very atmospheric! As if this wasn't enough, this afternoon saw the Carol Service at St Mary's church (hosted perfectly by Reverend Judith!). The children sang three lovely songs all from memory in the wonderful setting of the beautiful village church, as you can see in the photo.
