Girls' Football Success

Finally our girls' football team have had an opportunity to shine this week. They attended the annual Year 4/5/6 Girls' Football Festival at St Sampson's and played spectacularly.

Even though the wins didn't count, as it was for fun, our girls played brilliantly with Bliss heading up the goal and the other members (Ciara, Alana, Nalani, Yumeka, Jemma and Mollie) taking to the pitch. The scores were as follows: St Mary's vs St Sampson's 5-0 Goals scored by Jemma, Nalani and Alana St Mary's vs Ridgeway Farm 3-3 Goals scored by Yumeka, Nalani and Alana St Mary's vs Ashton Keynes 4-0 Goals scored by Nalani and Alana The girls are looking forward to a friendly with Brook Field soon and for the season to begin in January!
